Annual Spring Trash Cleanup

200 volunteers joined us for this event. We tackled a huge load of trash on North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission Game Land after having to cancel our Annual Fall Trash Cleanup. Hurricanes Florence and Michael raised havoc. These were followed in November by yet another tropical storm. In total, over 20 inches of rain fell last Fall, raising the lake level three times and never a chance to return to normal. Learn more about our public cleanup events here.
